Hagar recently had the honor of hosting an artist’s talk with renowned Chinese sculptor, Ren Zhe at his exhibition “Gang -The Awakened Warrior” in Exchange Square on 24th March 2017. After a guided tour of the exhibition by the artist, Christie’s provided their kind support to hold a live auction of “Vajra Heart”, one of Ren Zhe’s 18 sculptures.
Thanks to the immense generosity of the successful bidder and another donor who made a matching donation to Hagar, a staggering 760,000 HKD was raised for the child and woman survivors of severe abuse that Hagar serves. We would also like to acknowledge the support and partnership of Classified Hong Kong, and EX-R Consulting in making this event possible.
